Nabeshima-Shoto Park

Nabeshima house, the villa of the Kii Tokugawa family, was sold and turned into a tea plantation in 1876 which sold tea under the name 'Shoto.' Since the demise of the tea plantation, the plot of land, which features a spring-fed pond, opened to the public as a children's park. In 1932, after it was donated to the city of Tokyo, its control was transferred to the city of Shibuya.
